Charly García (born Carlos Alberto García Moreno on October 23, 1951) is a musician from Argentina with a long career in rock.
Charly García was the eldest son in an upper-middle class family. His father taught mathematics and physics in elementary school, while his mother produced radio music shows, mainly shows featuring folkloric music.

Charly began to show musical talent at an early age. At three, he received a toy piano as a gift, and soon he surprised his mother with his ability to compose and play coherent melodies, leading her to enlist him in a prestigious conservatory, the Thibaud Piazzini. At age twelve, he graduated as a Music Professor. Charly developed perfect pitch as a child.

DJ Tiesto

Tiësto (Dutch pronunciation: [tiɛsto]; born Tijs Michiel Verwest [tɛɪs mixiɫ vərʋɛst] on January 17, 1969)is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is an Italian twist of his childhood nickname.

In 1997 he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. In 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001 he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times by DJ Magazine from 2002 through 2004.

Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004, at the Summer Olympics he performed live at the opening ceremony in Athens, Greece becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics Games. Tracks he made especially for the Olympics were mixed together and released as the mix compilation Parade of the Athletes later that year. He was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2004 by Queen Beatrix. He was chosen as the official ambassador for the Dance4Life foundation in May 2006, and released the song "Dance4Life" with Maxi Jazz to help spread the awareness of HIV/AIDS. In April 2007 Tiësto launched both his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands and released his third studio album titled Elements of Life. The album reached number one on the Dutch album chart as well on "Billboard Top Electronic Albums" in the U.S. and received a nomination for a Grammy Award in 2008. Tiësto released his fourth studio album called Kaleidoscope in October 2009.

Metallica is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1981. Founded when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, while going through a number of bassists. Currently, the spot is held by Robert Trujillo.

Metallica's early releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the "big four" of the thrash metal subgenre alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax during the genre's development into a popular style. A film titled Some Kind of Monster documented the recording process of St. Anger.

Metallica has released nine studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, twenty-four music videos, and forty-five singles. The band has won nine Grammy Awards, and has had five consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making Metallica the only band, other than the Dave Matthews Band, to do so.The band's 1991 album, Metallica, has sold over 15 million copies in the United States, and 22 million copies worldwide, which makes it the 25th-highest-selling album in the country. The band has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide as of the release of their latest album, Death Magnetic. Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios Ponte Blanco, commonly known as Simón Bolívar (July 24, 1783 – December 17, 1830) was a South American political leader. Together with José de San Martín, he played a key role in Latin America's successful struggle for independence from Spain.

Following the triumph over the Spanish Monarchy, Bolívar participated in the foundation of the first Republic of Colombia (today referred to by historians as "Gran Colombia" to avoid confusion with the current nation of the same name), a nation formed from several former Spanish colonies. He was President of Gran Colombia from 1819 to 1830. Bolívar is credited with contributing decisively to the independence of the present-day countries of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Bolivia and is revered as a national hero in them.

Coldplay are an English alternative rock band from London, formed in 1998. The group comprises Chris Martin (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar), Jonny Buckland (lead guitar), Guy Berryman (bass guitar), and Will Champion (drums, backing vocals, other instruments).

Coldplay's early material was compared to acts such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, U2, a-ha and Travis. The cuisine included some typical Colombian favorites, nicely paired with the Chef's fabulous creations. The service is exceptional and the staff treats you like a guest in their home. I highly recommend La Moderna for any occasion; lunch with a friend, drinks and appetizers after work, or for a fun filled night of dancing to great music. Luna is a large classic Italian restaurant with a huge menu, housemade pastas, woodfired pizzas and breads, veal, beef, fish. They asked if we had a reservation which we did not, one of the waiters grabbed us and said he would take care of us. Within twenty minutes the whole place was packed and people waiting at the door. He brought us fresh flat bread from their wood fired oven and fresh mozzarella balls in delicious olive oil to start. Then we had some of the best carpaccio we have ever had layered around a salad Mirabella of fresh local greens. Everything was freshly made in their open kitchen. Great service, great entrees, and solid wine list. Nice surprise.
Casa Vieja, Cucina y Cava, and Abastos all worth visiting as well. Hotel de la Opera was perfect in the old city. Each kitchen presents the Colombian food in its own style.

For traditional local food there are two widely known eateries with more than one hundred years each.
At the historical city centre, by the cathedral, La Puerta Falsa for traditional "Tamales" with local candies an cookies, Pera cheese, Almojábana and Aguapanela (a typical Colombian infusion of solidified caramel of sugar cane known as "panela" and a lemmon twist). If you are in the financial district try Las Margaritas, in the Chapinero neighborhood, for the best Empanadas and Ajiaco, another Colombian staple.

If you are looking for avant garde colombian cuisine, one block from the National Museum is Leo Cocina y Cava. Was awarded something by Condé Nast Traveller Magazine (and let me tell you, weathever it was is well deserved). The other one is Abasto, up north, in Usaquen neighborhood. Both restaurants offer fusion dishes from all over Colombia and other parts of the world, prepared with exotic fruits, fishes, meats and vegetables.
And as a thing absolutely important, do not forget to try the desserts, in all four places.

The decoration is inspired by the old candy and grocery stores present in every village or farmers market everywhere in Colombia, with a modern lounge-like twist.

The food is delicious, and unexpected, starting with the bread.
The menu offers world known dishes prepared in novel ways mixed with traditional colombian staples and ingredients.
You can have a complete dinner only ordering different entrees (personally I´ve tried several times grilled baby Calamari on Ratatuille, the marinated greek olives, the mexican ceviche and "empanadas")-
For dessert I strongly recomend the "Almojábana" cake... or the Santander´s dark chocolate pie with almonds.

As a dutch expat working between Peru, Colombia and Venezuela, this is one of the best places I´ve enjoyed. The wine cellar is well selected for the menu. Also offer a good selection of beer from a local microbrewery and the place has different types of tables...with a chimney; in a balcony, outdoors; with sofas, or if you go with a big party or in a special ocassion, the chef´s table, inside de candy store. There are 3 superb Peruvians restaurants (in order of my preference): Astrid & Gaston, Nazca and Rafael. Criterion is a 5 star hitter in the Zona Rosa. And you can't go wrong with Balzac (in the Zona T) or Brasserie (Calle 85 w/ Cra. 13) both of which are French Bistro.
